On January 17th, Dani and I went to the new Star Ceiling opening at the El Paso Museum of Art, and then we went to Tippi Teas, and Kaedama. Let me tell you all about it :)

The day started off right after I recycled. I recently got into an accident so I couldn't drive due to no car (it got totaled, RIP Benni 2023-2025). So, once I was done recycling, Dani picked me up in the everlasting and lovely Red Velvet with the red interior and the fun LED lights. We immediately went to Starbucks and got the first sweet treat of the evening. After, we went downtown to the Star Ceiling Lighting event! We ran into some family friends, and some of my own coworkers from La Nube. We tried getting a second sweet treat at the museum, unfortunately the line for hot chocolate and pan dulce went out the door.
Luckily for Dani, I was coerced into the second sweet treat, this time at the Starbucks downtown. We got a hot mocha with whipped cream, and a hot chocolate. Unfortunately, both drinks look EXACTLY the same, so Dani drank mine and I drank hers. We also tried two new cake pop flavors AND, of course, I got my chocolate chip cookie.
So, we had to repent for our sins and cleanse our chakras at Tippi Teas. But first, we went to Kaedama and the wait time, as per usual, was like an hour. So THEN we went to Tippi Teas and I got Dani's first birthday present—as far as she knows—a tea bag called, I think, Magic Detox Organic. It smelled citrusy, so surely it must be good.
We finally got a text that our table was ready, unfortunately, it was outside, and it was freezing, and we were both so, SO cold. We managed to get moved inside by our waiter. I told her all about the infamous Red Wedding episode from Game of Thrones, which I had just watched the night prior, to which she responded with the most endearing groans. It's okay though, I finally got to talk to somebody about it. I also told her about David Lynch died the other day. She didn't know who that was, and she said "Ross Lynch's dad?"
That was the FUNNIEST thing I had ever heard. I truly don't understand it. She drove me home after that and we said goodnight. It was honestly, one of my favorite dates we'd been on. :) Happy birthday Dani :)
